Rydal Water is a small but pretty lake between Grasmere and Ambleside in the lake district, alongside which lived William Wordsworth.

I've been too busy to do much photography recently, work and helping to set up an independent charity lifeboat has taken up all my time so it was great to spend a long weekend in the lake district and get out for some early mornings and get back into it.
