A near full moon illuminates the North Sea off Whitby on England's East Coast. The lights at the end of the pier guide boats into the harbour, a fishing boat is seen coming in to harbour to the left, whilst the Newcastle to Ijmuiden ferry can be seen to the right of the red navigation light. The 4 minute 23 long exposure means the stars show as trails due to the rotation of the earth.
