Dubrovnik is home to many cats who roam the Old Town, never getting in the way or begging but wandering about or lying in the shade. Around the corner from the Rector's Palace we found where they live, a cat enclave, with comfy chairs, bowls of food and water and a collecting tin to pay for their upkeep.

In the midday sun this fella had found some shade in which to relax, as comfortable as only cats can look.
